Welcome. I’m Michael Ryan, and my journey in this life from as far back as I can remember has been interested in exploring the inner world. For many years, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding the landscapes within—how we heal from, and work with, both big and small traumas, the quiet desperations, the grief, the loneliness, the pains, the niggles, all of it can be met and integrated to support an unfolding of something deeper, often hidden, within ourselves. Even amid the complexities and busyness of our lives.
In my journey, I’ve discovered that practices like yoga, mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and shadow work are valuable for dealing with the suffering we encounter in life. They serve as paths of illumination into our inner Selves, helping us understand our hearts, minds and bodies. These practices have taught me that by connecting with ourselves, we can change not only our own lives but also positively influence the world around us.
I’ve had the honour of teaching people from all walks of life, including serving as the yoga teacher for the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins. I’ve studied with world-class yogis and meditators across the globe, always deepening my own understanding of this profound inner work. This dedication comes from a recognition that in a world that often feels chaotic or overwhelming, we need ways to anchor ourselves. By turning inward, by tending to our own healing, we create a ripple effect. Each person who finds a bit more clarity and balance within themselves helps create a more loving, coherent world for us all.
I truly believe that when enough of us do this inner work, we reach a tipping point where the world begins to shift. We remember that love is at the foundation of everything, and that healing—both personal and collective—is not only possible but essential. This is the heart of my teaching and the essence of why I do what I do.
Thank you for being here, and I look forward to exploring this journey together.
